Jit Chiang left the bookshop to his two sons. In 1992, my father had to buy over his younger brother's share of the shop. In 1992, my family also moved from the Tranquerah house we've lived in since 1959 to a house in Taman Kota Laksamana, partly financed by my elder brother.
