| Kota Bharu sustained my interest for one night before I resumed my way north to border town Rantau Panjang. There are two ways to cross the river border to Sungai Golok . I chose the pansy option, RM2 for motorcycle 'taxi' across the bridge via immigration. Meanwhile locals paid fifty sen to ride the sampan across the river, in full view of border guards, unimpeded by passport checks. |
